Guns pointed towards one another.
Roses laid on upon our brothers.
When will the innocent bleeding end?
Or will it be to late, when we turn the guns on ourselves instead?
Only in a day you can hear horrors.
A mother shoots her children.
A father's life lost on the line of duty.
Is it really wrong, to ask for a little bit of heart warming information on the news?
Something that allows us to at flash the tiniest smile?
Something real.
Not sports or weather.
A small hero;
Who gives us a ray of hope in the sky of darkness.
Is that too much to ask of, God?
Until then, people shall continue to hurt.

Today a Father was killed in the line of duty.
A police officer, 31 with a family; a wife and two kids.
First man to be lost in the line of duty in Taylor.(?)
And yesterday, a mother shot her two childrean because they were autistic and she wanted 'normal' children. (I don't know if that was in Michigan)
Isn't this a great world we live in?
Where what I just mentioned is a five second topic and the sports a good ten?
Perhaps we should try to take the time to help others, no matter how much we dislike them. :l
